Hyderabad: An armed reserve constable working with EAGLE team died on Tuesday evening, reportedly due to injuries sustained in a road accident.

According to the police, Charan Kumar, an armed reserve constable, was working with the EAGLE team. On September 19, Charan, along with his team, headed by DSP Pushpan Kumar, went to Mumbai for some investigation. While they were returning to the city, the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry on the Pune- Solapur highway.

“Charan suffered injuries in the accident. He came to the city and had undergone two surgeries at a private hospital in Malakpet. On Tuesday, he was discharged from the hospital.
