Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Friday found fault with former Minister Eatala Rajender for joining Bharatiya Janata Party to protect his properties. Leaders of various unions including TNSF, AIYF, BJYM and others from Huzurabad joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi in presence of the Minister at his camp office here.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar said that the Telangana people would revolt against Rajender if the latter continues to criticise Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who was taking the State on the path of development by introducing various development and welfare schemes.
He said Rajender enjoyed self-respect when he was with the Chief Minister. However, the former Minister pledged his self-respect as well as the Telangana people’s self-respect before the BJP leaders in Delhi. “Rajender has become a slave to Delhi leadership to protect his properties,” he said.
Kamalakar rubbished the former Minister’s vow to end the TRS rule in the State. He said Chandrashekhar Rao, who played a pivotal role in achieving Telangana State, was striving hard to achieve Bangaru Telangana by implementing several welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, uninterrupted power supply, Aasara pensions and others.
“Does Rajender want to end the TRS government’s rule for implementing all these schemes?” he questioned and predicted that the people of the Huzurabad Assembly constituency will defeat Rajender in the upcoming by-poll. He also ridiculed the statements of Rajender’s wife Jamuna that they led a dignified life in undivided Andhra Pradesh.
“While all other Assembly constituencies are moving on a growth path with the funds sanctioned by the Chief Minister, Rajender neglected Huzurabad constituency. Instead of development, the former Minister was busy in getting his illegal properties regularised,” he added. Kamalakar promised to develop Huzurabad on all fronts in the coming days.
