Karimnagar: TS Planning Board vice-chairman B Vinod Kumar on Monday said BJP leader Eatala Rajender had hatched a conspiracy against the TRS with an eye on the Chief Minister’s post. “There is nothing wrong in being ambitious but one should not become greedy like Rajender,” he said.
Participating in an election campaign at Shayampet in Jammikunta mandal, Vinod Kumar wondered why the BJP leader’s followers raised “Rajender CM” slogans if the latter was not really interested in the Chief Minister’s post.
Referring to Rajender’s comments that he could not adjust in the TRS, he asked how the former continued in a Minister’s post for five years. “People should never compromise when it comes to their self-respect. Rajender, who used to criticise the anti-people’s policies of the Union government led by BJP, has joined the same party,” he pointed out.
Terming BJP as anti- SC, ST, and OBCs, he said the union government was trying to destroy the employment opportunities of weaker sections by privatizing BSNL, LIC, Railways and other public sector undertakings.
Talking about BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s padayatra, Vinod Kumar opined that since he has no issues to criticize the state government, BJP leader was promising to sign first signature on health and education files after coming to power in the state.
Being a parliament member, Sanjay Kumar never talked and raised public issues in parliament during the last two years of his tenure.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sanctioned 150 medical colleges to different states across the country. However, not a single college was sanctioned to Telangana. Karimnagar MP never asked and tried to sanction a medical college in Karimangar.
He advised the MP to strive for college since the latter has another two and half year tenure. TRS would also be ready to give a letter to the union government for medical college. TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav, MLA Aroori Ramesh and others were present.
