Karimnagar: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav came down heavily on BJP and Congress leaders on Monday for meaningless criticism of the State government.

Speaking to reporters at LMD guest house here, Srinivas Yadav asked of BJP State president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar as to how much funds the latter had got sanctioned for the development of Karimnagar. “Being an MP of the ruling party, Sanjay Kumar failed to get funds even for his constituency,” he said.

The Congress was in power for 45 years both at the Centre and State, he said and demanded of Congress to release a white paper on how many jobs it filled during its tenure.

On the other hand, the Union government led by BJP was going ahead with selling off railways, airports, LIC, and other public sector undertakings. Both BJP and Congress should behave with responsibility.

On BJP leader Eatala Rajender, the Minister said the former was shedding crocodile tears now, and asked the people not to believe in him.

“Rajender, who worked as minister for seven years, failed to develop Huzurabad constituency. Would there have been a need for the BJP leader to distribute wall clocks and rice cookers if he had developed the constituency/” the Minister questioned, and wondered how Rajender joined hands with BJP which brought in anti-farmers laws.

Rajender’s sings one tune in Hyderabad and another in Huzurabad, Srinivas Yadav said, adding that everyone knows why by-election is going to be held in Huzurabad. People are supporting Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who is striving hard for the welfare of the people, he added.

Indirectly commenting on TPCC president Revanth Reddy, the Minister said leaders, who underwent imprisonment in the jail, were also talking against the government. It was not proper. TRS Huzurabad candidate, Gellu Srinivas Yadav is going to win the election with a thumping majority.

In order to provide benefits to fishermen, the government dropped 93 crore fish seed and 10 crore prawn seed in tanks and reservoirs across the state by spending Rs 115 crore this year. Fishermen could earn money by catching the fish and prawn and selling them in the market.

Earlier, the Minister dropped fish seed in Singapuram tank of Huzurabad mandal.
