ECI extends Telangana SIR enumeration deadline till August 10
The Election Commission of India has extended the deadline for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Telangana till August 10. The digitisation of enumeration forms has reached 77.12 per cent statewide, with Hyderabad recording the lowest progress among districts.
Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday extended the time for enumeration as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll in the State up to August 10. Earlier, the deadline for enumeration was August 3.
The SIR exercise in Telangana was taken up on June 25 with initial deadline of July 24 which was revised to August 3. However, now the deadline has been extended till August 10.
Meanwhile, the digitisation of enumeration forms reached 77.12 percent in the State. Hyderabad recorded 56.31 percent forms’ digitisation, which is lowest among all districts.
