Minister Indrakaran inspects of the under-construction an integrated collectorate complex in Nirmal on Friday.
Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy instructed the officials concerned to complete the construction of the integrated District Collectorate Complex by the end of April. He inspected the works here on Friday. The building is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 56 crore.
Indrakaran enquired about the progress of the works from Roads and Building department officials and the agency concerned. He said that the facility was being created for the convenience of the public. He stated that the collectorate would be thrown open to the public in the month of May.
The Minister further said that the Nirmal district was making strides in different fields. He stated that beautification of the district headquarters was in progress. He added that efforts were being made to convert Nirmal town into a model civic body in northern Telangana. He informed that medical and nursing college would be granted to the district.
He earlier celebrated Bhogi festival along with his grandsons at his camp office. He conveyed the wishes of the Sankranti festival to the people of Telangana. He enjoyed the maneuvers of holy cow Gangireddu exhibited as part of celebrations of the festival.
