Minister Indrakaran Reddy visits Shyam Garh fort in Nirmal on Sunday.
Nirmal: Minister for Forests and Environment Allola Indrakaran Reddy said on Sunday that Nirmal town would be converted into a major tourism centre soon.
Speaking during a visit to the historic Shyam Garh Fort where he inaugurated lighting works, Indrakaran Reddy said that various places of the fort would be developed, besides creating a walking track, canteen and boating facility in a tank near the site.
He stated that the lighting system would be arranged at the famous Soan Bridge to attract visitors. He added that a Haritha Hotel was allotted to the district and it would be constructed near Old IB Building soon.
Indrakaran said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would inaugurate the newly constructed office of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). He visited the Telangana Bhavan at Kondapur village in Nirmal.
The Minister promised to take steps for granting Rs 10 lakh to construct a temple of Lord Hanuman at Manjulapur Colony in Nirmal. He responded to a plea made by residents of the colony who met the Minister at his residence. He said that temples of the district were being developed and basic amenities were created.
He felicitated Sirisetti Sankeerth of Bellampalli for securing 330th rank in Civil Services examinations-2019. He congratulated Sankeerth and said that he had brought recognition to Telangana and Mancherial by shining in the examinations. Trainee IFS officers Neeraj Kumar and Naveen Reddy called on the Minister as part of courtesy.
