EFLU to train nursing students in German and Japanese

Hyderabad: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) will provide training up to the B2 level in German and Japanese languages for nursing students enrolled in government nursing colleges across the State. A MoU to this effect has been signed with the Health and Medical Department.
The initiative aims to equip nursing students with advanced language skills, thereby enhancing their employability prospects in Germany and Japan, two countries with significant demand for qualified healthcare professionals, a press release said.
Through this collaboration, EFLU will deliver structured language training programmes tailored to the needs of the nursing sector, enabling students to acquire both linguistic competence and intercultural communication skills essential for professional success abroad, it said.
EFLU is also working to expand its footprint by offering language training programmes to other States across the country, it added.
