Hyderabad: Eight persons of a marriage party sustained injuries when a four-wheeler in which they were travelling overturned in the forests of Adipelli village in Chintalamanepalli mandal on Sunday. Their condition of the injured is said to be stable.
Chintalamanepalli police said most of the people suffered injuries on heads, hands and legs when the van turned turtle at a curve in the forests of Adipelli village after the driver lost control over the vehicle. They were heading to Gundi village in Asifabad mandal from Babasagar of Chintalamanepalli mandal.
Meanwhile, TRS activists rushed to the spot and shifted the victims to a hospital in Kaghaznagar.
Sirpur (T) MLA Koneru Konappa and his wife Rama Devi visited the hospital and inquired about their condition.
