Hyderabad: Eight-year-old Sanhitha Gurujala, who visited the Nehru Zoological Park along with her mother, Navya Daram, and friends on Saturday, has set an example for many children by offering to adopt a Blue Gold Macaw for six months. Her mother presented a cheque of Rs 15,000 towards adoption charges to A Nagamani, Deputy Curator of the zoo. She said she had saved the money to celebrate Sanhitha’s eighth birthday.
Nagamani thanked Sanhitha and her mother for adopting the bird.
