Elaborate arrangements made for Jumat ul Vida prayers in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Elaborate arrangements are being made by administration for the smooth conduct of the ‘Jumat ul Vida’ (last Friday of Ramzan) prayers to be held on Friday.
The TS Wakf Board had spruced up the historic Mecca Masjid, where around 10,000 people are expected to attend the prayers on Friday. The prayers will be led by Khateeb Mecca Masjid, Maulana Hafiz Mohd Rizwan Qureshi.
After the prayers, a Youmul Quran program will be held. The AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi will address the gathering in the program. All MLAs of the party and corporators along with the local party workers, will attend the program.
The AIMIM general secretary, Ahmed Pasha Quadri, had assigned the roads around Mecca Masjid to the party MLAs and MLC to supervise the arrangements and keep surveillance to ensure a peaceful conduct of the program.
Meanwhile, the police are making elaborate security arrangements. The local police will be assisted by the City Armed Reserve platoons, the Telangana State Special Police, Rapid Action Force, and the Commissioner’s Task Force.
