Elderly man dies by suicide after siblings’ deaths in Mancherial
A 67-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his farm in Luxettipet, Mancherial district, after reportedly struggling with loneliness following the deaths of his two siblings within a year. Police have shifted the body to a government hospital for further procedures.

Mancherial: Depressed over loneliness and the death of his siblings, a 67-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his farm in Luxettipet on Sunday night.
Police said that Medi Lingaiah from Boyawada had been depressed ever since he lost his two siblings within a year. He reportedly felt lonely and then got addicted to liquor over a period of time. He left home stating that he would visit his farm, but ended his life by hanging himself from a tree.
His family members searched for him in different parts of the town before tracing his body hanging from the tree. They shifted the body to a government hospital.
