Elderly woman gored by cow dies during treatment in Asifabad; 20 others injured

Kaghaznagar police said that Kyatam Radhamma (80), a single woman, breathed her last at the time of the treatment

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: An elderly woman, who received serious injuries when a cow gored her at Sirsilk Colony in Kaghaznagar, died while undergoing treatment at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Warangal on Friday.

Kaghaznagar police said that Kyatam Radhamma (80), a single woman, breathed her last at the time of the treatment.

She had serious injuries to her abdomen and other parts of the body when the cow attacked her at Sirsilk Colony on October 20. About 20 others also sustained minor injuries after the cow ran amok and gored them on the same day.

However, local police Sub-Inspector Sudhakar managed to capture the animal and provided treatment to it.
