Hyderabad: Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud termed elections as the ultimate indicator for a political party’s acceptance by people and exuded confidence that the TRS will win Huzurabad by-elections trumping the Opposition parties. He felt that the success of TRS plenary appeared to be heartbreaking for the opposition parties and stated that the ruling party will continue to remain in power for another 20 years.

Speaking to media persons at TRS Legislative Party office here on Tuesday, Srinivas Goud said the Congress and the BJP leaders were fearing Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao as his demand for BC Census and his brainchild Dalit Bandhu were giving them sleepless nights. He stated that people from all sections of the society were benefiting from the schemes of the TRS government. “The Congress and the BJP leaders are criticising the Chief Minister as they are unable to digest his popularity among people of Telangana. People of many States, including Andhra Pradesh, want a leader like K Chandrashekhar Rao,” he said.

The Minister also strongly objected to the criticism of the opposition parties against the TRS plenary session held on Monday. He pointed out that all the meeting agenda, activities and other arrangements were internal affairs of the party and the opposition parties have no right to speak about the plenary. He said the opposition parties were trying to create a sense of uncertainty and insecurity among people of Telangana State, but the latter were wise enough to ignore the false propaganda. He assured that the job notifications for vacant post in different departments will be released shortly. He advised the opposition parties to emulate the schemes of the Telangana government, in the States ruled by them and return to power in respective States.
