Eleven arrested for gambling in Mancherial

Eleven persons including former Dandepalli MPP Gaddam Srinivas were arrested for allegedly indulging in gambling in Luxettipet town on Monday night.

Mancherial: Eleven persons including former Dandepalli Mandal Parishad president Gaddam Srinivas were arrested by a task force for allegedly indulging in banned gambling in Luxettipet town on Monday night.

Task force police said that Gaddam Srinivas, Lingala Thirupathi, Kondavalli Srikanth, Mohd Shahid, Kalvala Venkatesh, Kongala Narender Reddy, Samudrala Narender, Padala Gowtham, Mengani Sattaiah, Banala Ramesh and Pothula Srinivas, all belonging to different parts of Luxettipet and Dandepalli mandals were apprehended while committing the offence, following a tip-off.

The eleven accused persons were handed over to Luxettipet police for further action.
