Eligible citizens urged to register as voters in Hyderabad by September 17

The GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan has appealed to eligible citizens in Hyderabad to register as voters under the Special Summary Revision 2025 by September 17. Forms 6, 7, and 8 are available online and through Booth Level Officers

Hyderabad: The GHMC Commissioner and Hyderabad District Election Officer RV Karnan appealed to all eligible citizens who completed 18 years of age as of July 1, 2025, to register as voters under the ongoing Special Summary Revision 2025 for the ensuing Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency by-poll.

In a statement on Saturday, he urged new voters to complete their registration on or before September 17 using the provisions of Form 6 (New Registration for General Electors), Form 7 (Objection to inclusion or deletion of name in the electoral roll), and Form 8 (Shifting of residence, corrections in entries, replacement of EPIC, marking of PwD).


Eligible citizens may register online through the Voter Helpline App (VHA) or by visiting the official websites: ceotelangana.nic.in, ecinet.eci.gov.in, or eci.gov.in.

For further assistance, citizens can approach their Booth Level Officer (BLO), AERO, ERO, or DEO, or call the toll-free helpline 1950.
