Nizamabad: Police officials manning the checkposts at the State borders were stopping vehicles carrying Covid-19 patients from Maharashtra, but were allowing some emergency cases at Saloora and Kandakurti checkposts in Nizamabad district.
Bodhan Rural Inspector Ravinder Naik said that as usual they were checking all vehicles at Saloora and Kandakurti checkposts. If the vehicles were found to be transporting any Covid patients, they were being asked to return and only in emergency cases they were allowing the ambulances to enter the State.
