Engineering admissions in management quota in private colleges from July 19: TGCHE

The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the 2025 schedule for B-category admissions to engineering and pharmacy courses in private colleges. The admission process begins on July 19 and must be completed by August 10, with merit-based seat allotment

Hyderabad: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) on Thursday released a schedule and notification for the management quota (B-category) undergraduate engineering and pharmacy admissions in private colleges for the academic year 2025–26.

As per the schedule, managements have to issue notifications in leading newspapers and display them on the college website from July 19. Students should be given a minimum of nine working days to apply.

The colleges have been asked to close the admission process on August 10 and submit the admission list in a prescribed format on or before August 25.

According to the notification, 30 percent management quota seats have to be filled in the order of merit, with candidates claiming the NRI quota first, followed by students securing JEE Main ranks and TG EAPCET rankers.

Seats that remain unfilled due to non-availability of candidates in these categories have to be filled with candidates who secured not less than 45 percent in the Intermediate Public Examinations.
