Engineering student dies by suicide in Hyderabad
According to police, Taddabba Sreedeep did not perform well in the first year examination and had slipped into depression over it and ended his life

Hyderabad: An engineering student died by suicide at his house in Nagole on Wednesday evening reportedly after slipping into depression over poor performance in examination.
Taddabba Sreedeep (18), a resident of Anandnagar in Nagole is pursuing second year engineering course from a private college in Ghatkesar.
According to the police, on Wednesday morning, Sreedeep did not go to college citing health related issues and stayed at home. In the evening, when the mother of Sreedeep returned home, she found the door of the house latched from inside and Sreedeep was not responding.
With the help of neighbours, they broke the door open and went inside only to find Sreedeep hanging to the ceiling fan in the house.
“The family members told us that Sreedeep did not perform well in the first year examination and had slipped into depression over it and ended his life,” said Nagole police.
A case is registered and an investigation going on.
