Jogulamba Gadwal: District Collector V Kranthi directed the officials to ensure 100 percent vaccination, besides initiating measures to avoid inconvenience to farmers during paddy procurement.
The district Collector inspected the paddy procurement centre set up in the primary agricultural Cooperative society on Saturday.
During the inspection, he specifically checked the provision of tarpaulins, gunny bags, paddy cleaners, moisture checking equipment. He directed the officials to ensure that moisture content in the paddy not to exceed beyond 17 percent and instructed them to synchronize the farmers contacts with their Adhaar cards.
He appealed to the farmers to get their stocks only after thoroughly drying them in the open places.
Later, he inspected the vaccination centre at Rayapuram and instructed the ASHA workers and ANMs to visit every house and create awareness among the households.
“All the people should get vaccinated and extend their cooperation to the health staff,” said Collector V Kranthi.
He also visited the Tahsildar office in Gattu and directed the staff to clear all the pending applications pertaining to Dharani system.
Officials were instructed to check the survey numbers, government lands and patta lands details while uploading details.
