Warangal Urban: Stating that the higher voter turnout was as per their expectations, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao exuded confidence that TRS candidate Palla Rajeshwar Reddy would emerge victorious in the MLC elections for Warangal-Khamma-Nalgonda graduates constituency.

Speaking to the mediapersons here on Sunday, Dayakar Rao said the graduate voters have exercised franchise in the MLC election to prove that they are really committed to the democracy and they are ‘educated’. “As per the last reports, the polling percentage is 72. But the percentage is all likely to increase which will be in favour of the TRS party candidate,” he added.

Referring the allegations of the BJP that TRS workers attacked them, he made it clear that they had not attacked anyone, but the BJP was trying to create a fuss.  “I ask the police to enquire and take action against those who are responsible for the attacks,” he added.  Rao thanked both the TRS workers who strove a lot to ensure that the voters must exercise their franchise and also thanked the voters for their ‘enthusiasm’ in participating the polling.

Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, MLA N Narender, Mayor Gunda Prakash Rao, MLC B Saraiah, KUDA chairman Marri Yadav Reddy and others were present.
