Jangaon: Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao mourned the death of Godugu Sindhuja (26) at Chinna Maduru village of Devaruppula mandal in the district on Tuesday. Sindhuja, daughter of MPTC Godugu Sujatha Mallikharjun, was washed away in a swollen stream near Kurraram village of Rajapet mandal of Yadadri-Bhongir district on Monday when she fell from a motorcycle into the stream.

She was going to her relatives’ village on a motorcycle with her brother Shravan Kumar and a relative, Himabindhu. The body of Sindhuja was fished out on Monday evening. On coming to know about the tragic incident, Errabelli spoke with Sujatha over phone on Monday and visited the village on Tuesday. He consoled the members of the bereaved family and assured them that the government would extend help to the family.
