Erstwhile Warangal witnesses thundershowers

Warangal: A majority of the mandals in the erstwhile Warangal district witnessed thundershowers on Sunday.

Bayyaram mandal in Mahabubabad district recorded 6.64 cm rainfall, followed by Gudur with 3.90 cm.

Only two mandals in the Jangaon district, Narmetta with 3.76 cm rainfall and Jangaon 2.0 mm, received rainfall. All the 11 mandals in Warangal Urban district including Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) jurisdiction witnessed rain. While Bheemadevarapally mandal recorded the highest rainfall of 4.52 cm, Inavole recorded 3.4 mm rainfall.
