Mulugu: Taking a cue from TRS party working president and IT Minister KT Rama Rao, TRS State Social Media convener Y Satish Reddy embarked on a mission to help Covid-hit families in the State. He donated essential items and groceries to about 400 families at Govindraopet, Pasra, Chalvai, Motlagudem and other hamlets in the district on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Satish Reddy urged philanthropists to come forward and help the poor and needy. “People must wear masks, if possible double masks, to protect themselves from the novel coronavirus which is ravaging the country,” he said. The groceries he supplied for the families would last for at least one month for a family of four, he added.
Mulugu ASP Potharaju Chaitanya, MPP Sudi Srinivas Reddy, CI Anumula Srinivas, SI Ravinder, MPTC member Swaroopa, among others were present.
