Hyderabad: BJP MP Etela Rajender has been accused of physically assaulting a real estate broker in Pocharam, Medchal district. The incident reportedly stemmed from allegations that the broker had encroached upon lands belonging to the poor.
The MP visited Ekashila Nagar in Pocharam Municipality in the district, where the local residents reportedly complained to him that a real estate broker was encroaching on the lands of the poor and causing problems.
In this context, Rajender, who became angry at the encroachment of the lands of the poor, attacked the real estate broker. At the same time, the MP’s followers and victims also attacked the real estate broker.
Meanwhile, allegations are that real brokers were selling plots to innocent people in the canceled Ekashila venture.
