Ethan, Jensi emerge winners in ATF Under-14 Category A tennis championship

Ethan Frans of Indonesia defeated Vivaan Mirdha 6-0,6-2 in the boys final and Jesi scored a 6-0,6-0 win against Akshita Antil in the girls final

Hyderabad: Ethan Frans and Jensi Dipakbhai won the boys and girls singles titles respectively in the ATF under-14 Category A tennis championship at Jubilee Hills International Centre here on Saturday.

Frans of Indonesia defeated Vivaan Mirdha 6-0,6-2 in the boys final and Jesi scored a 6-0,6-0 win against Akshita Antil in the girls final.


Former Union Minister and now MP Daggubati Purandeshwari gave away the prizes.

The results:

Finals: Jensi Dipakbhai bt Akshita Antil 6-0,6-2.

Doubles: Khushi Kadian & Jesi Dipakbhai bt Ramesh Padmapriya & Diya Ravikumar 6-0, 6-0.

Boys: Ethan Frans (INA) bt Vivaan Mirdha 6-0,6-2.

Doubles: M. Sendilkumar & Chan Seo (KOR) bt Souhail EL-TAJI (KSA) & Taanish Nanda 6-2, 3-6, 13-11.
