Siddipet: District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy on Tuesday all arrangements had been made for Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s visit to Siddipet on December 10.
The Collector inspected the arrangements in the morning at Rythu Vedika built at Mittapally, the land identified for IT Tower, Medical College, Underground Drainage Seweage Treatment plant, 2BH houses at Narsapur, Necklace road at Komaticheruvu and Government Degree College, where the Chief Minister will address a public meeting.
Speaking with officials during a review meeting along with Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis, the Collector said instructions have been issued to all the staff to make the visit a successful. In view of Covid-19 outbreak, Reddy said the staff have been instructed to wear masks while discharging duties during the Chief Minister’s visit.
Joel Davis said 1,503 personnel would be deployed for the Chief Minister’s visit to provide strict security.
Earlier, Finance Minister T Harish Rao also inspected the various places where Chandrashekar Rao would be participating in programmes. The Minister made several suggestions to the officials on the arrangements needed to be made.
