Hyderabad: Former Andhra Pradesh Special Chief Secretary P.V. Ramesh has fallen victim to a cyber attack, with his X (formerly Twitter) account was allegedly hacked.

Ramesh, a resident of Jubilee Hills, alleged that his ‘X’ account, @rameshpv2010, was compromised and that unauthorised posts were being made from it.

He further said he received security alert emails regarding suspicious activity and immediately changed his account password. However, concerns over unauthorised access persisted.

Based on his complaint, the Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Efforts are on to identify those behind the account breach.
