Ex-gratia fixed for frontline workers in Andhra Pradesh

Accordingly, Rs. 25 lakh will be paid to the families of doctors who lose life during COVID duty, Rs.20 lakh to staff nurses, Rs.15 lakh to FSO and MSOs, and Rs.10 lakh to other medical personnel.

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has fixed ex-gratia amounts to be paid to frontline workers failing victims to COVID.

Accordingly, Rs. 25 lakh will be paid to the families of doctors who lose life during COVID duty, Rs.20 lakh to staff nurses, Rs.15 lakh to FSO and MSOs, and Rs.10 lakh to other medical personnel. These amounts will be paid in addition to the amount paid under the Central government scheme.
