Visakhapatnam: Former Mayor and former Anakapalle MP Sabbam Hari’s office building in Seethammadhara was partly demolished on Saturday by Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation officials for encroachment of an adjacent park. Though the issue was hanging fire for nearly a couple of decades, action was taken finally on the day after issuing notices to Hari who had allegedly not responded to them.

The former mayor was said to have encroached 12 feet into the park which is worth a couple of crores of rupees, it is said. Hari allegedly abused the officials who had arrived to demolish the structure but the latter took police help to complete the task.
