Ex-MLA Vinay Bhaskar discharged from hospital, KCR enquires about his health

Former Warangal (West) MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar was discharged from a private hospital after suffering injuries during an alleged police assault at MGM Hospital. Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and several BRS leaders spoke to him and enquired about his health.

Hanamkonda: Warangal (West) former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, who was hospitalised after an alleged assault on him by police at MGM Hospital in Warangal on Tuesday, has been discharged from a private hospital.

Doctors advised him a few days’ rest in view of injuries he suffered on one of his legs and hands during his visit to MGMH after the collapse of a portion of roof slabs at RICU and physiotherapy departments. He alleged that the police manhandled him while stopping him from entering the hospital. The incident evoked strong condemnation from a wide section of society.

According to BRS sources, former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao spoke with Vinay Bhaskar over the phone on Tuesday night. He inquired about his health and emphasised the need to continue the fight on public issues as the BRS party stands firmly with the people.

Former minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao as well as former minister T Harish Rao also spoke with the ex-MLA over the phone to inquire about his well-being. Several other BRS leaders also spoke to Vinay Bhaskar, enquiring about his condition.
