Karimnagar: Exercise officials have received 1,467 applications for 94 wine shops in the district. On Thursday, 338 applications were received for wine shops in Karimnagar urban excise station limits, 350 in Karimnagar rural, 212 in Jammikunta, 289 in Huzurabad, 278 applications for wine shops located in Thimmapur limits. The shops would be allocated to applicants through the draw of lots in the presence of the District Collector at Collectorate on November 20, Deputy Commissioner, Excise, KAB Shastry said.
