Amaravati: Former Chief Minister of AP and Telugu Desam Party national president N Chandrababu Naidu has said that the Central Budget introduced in the Parliament on Tuesday was not up to expectations. In his reaction here, he noted that the Centre did not spell out what it has in store for the farmers and the poor, while the salaried class were greeted with an empty hand.

On the positive side, he said that the Central plans on interlinking of rivers were good and he welcomed the reforms in the digital, solar and EV sectors.

Naidu said that the YSR Congress Party MPs had once again failed in getting the demands of the state fulfilled and wondered what the 28 YSRCP MPs achieved for the state.
