Expedite Hattighat pump house works: Adilabad MLA to officials
Ramanna said the project was being taken up to irrigate agriculture fields of the district and to avoid inconvenience to farmers in growing various crops
Adilabad: Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna instructed officials of the Irrigation department to take steps for completion of works of the pump house of the inter-State Chanaka-Korata project at Hattighat village in Jainath mandal on Friday.
Ramanna said the project was being taken up to irrigate agriculture fields of the district and to avoid inconvenience to farmers in growing various crops. He told the authorities of the department to expedite the works and to realize the long pending dream of the agrarian community. He stated that the credit of fulfilling the dream goes to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The officials, explaining the progress of works to the legislator, informed him that the works had reached the final stage. They said that they were taking steps for completing the pump house at the earliest and to irrigate agricultural fields. They stated that shortage of labourers caused by the lockdown was hindering progreess of works.
