Expedite Kothapally-Manoharabad Railway line works: Harish

Speaking at a review meeting on the progress of the Manoharabad-Kothapalli Railway Line in Siddipet on Friday, Harish Rao said the works of the railway line upto Gajwel had already been completed.

Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao has asked the Railway authorities to expedite the Kothapalli-Manoharabad Railway works assuring further grants in addition to State government’s earlier grant of Rs 300 crore.

Speaking at a review meeting on the progress of the Manoharabad-Kothapalli Railway Line in Siddipet on Friday, Harish Rao said the works of the railway line upto Gajwel had already been completed. Pointing out that land acquisition works had already been completed up to Siddipet town from Manoharabad, the Minister enquired with the Railway officials if the State government had anything more to be done.


He has instructed the district officials and State level officials to complete all the pending works pertaining Manoharabad-Kothapalli railway line to help the railway department to complete the works on war-footing.

The Railway authorities led by Deputy Chief Engineer (South Central Railway) Sadharma Naidu presented a couple of models designed by them for Siddipet Railway Station to Harish Rao.

MLC Farooq Hussain, Commissioner of Police  D Joel Davis, Additional Collector Padmakar and others were present.
