Face of villages in Telangana has changed: Koppula
Eashwar said basic facilities have been developed in rural areas under the Palle Pragathi programme.

Jagtial: Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar on Monday said the face of villages in Telangana State has changed with the design and implementation of innovative schemes introduced by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Minister was speaking after laying the foundation stones for various developmental works taken up with Rs 80 lakh DMFT funds at Ramnur, Muthunoor, and Shakapur in Velgatur mandal on Monday.
Eashwar said basic facilities have been developed in rural areas under the Palle Pragathi programme. So, significant change has taken place with various developmental programmes being implemented in villages.
Steps have also been taken to enhance green cover by planting trees under Haritha Haram. Nurseries were also developed in all villages. Localities appeared clean as sanitation works were continued on a regular basis. Internal roads, graveyards, removal of weeds both side of roads and other works were also taken up under palle pragathi programme, he said.
Moreover, cultivation area has also been enhanced with the availability of adequate water and uninterrupted power supply in the State. So, a festive atmosphere prevailed in rural areas with various developmental works being implemented.
