Mancherial: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reminisced that he, along with friends, had watched films in this town during his college days. He went down memory lane while addressing a BJP poll rally ahead of the municipal polls here on Saturday.
Fadnavis recalled that he was not visiting Mancherial for the first time, but had been to the town several times earlier. “I had many friends here. I, along with my friends, used to watch films in theatres of this town during my college days. I have fond memories of this town,” he recounted while addressing a rally at IB Chowk.
Slamming the Congress government in the State, he said the Congress slipped into debt during the regime of the national party and the country was not developed. In Telangana, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had failed to ensure 50 percent reservation to BCs, he said.
Fadnavis also addressed a public meeting in Kagaznagar of Kumram Bheem Asifabad.
