Failure to get job forces woman to end life in Peddapalli
According to the police, Pratyusha, who had done her M.Com, was preparing for bank and government jobs but was unhappy as she could not get selected for any job even after several attempts.
Peddapalli: Upset over not getting a government job, a 26-year-old woman, Chunchu Pratyusha, died allegedly by suicide in Powerhouse colony, Godavarikhani.
According to the police, Pratyusha, who had done her M.Com, was preparing for bank and government jobs but was unhappy as she could not get selected for any job even after several attempts.
Upset over her failure in getting jobs, she allegedly hanged herself from the ceiling on Tuesday night. Family members shifted her to hospital, where she breathed her last while undergoing treatment.
Pratyusha’s father Vittal is running a tea stall near the court here. Based on Vittal’s complaint, police registered a case and began an investigation.
