Fake allopathy doctor held in Warasiguda for running illegal clinic

Police in Warasiguda arrested a man accused of posing as an allopathy doctor and running an unauthorised clinic. The accused, V. Ashok, allegedly treated patients illegally despite holding a BAMS qualification. A case has been registered and investigation is ongoing.

Hyderabad: A fake allopathy doctor was caught by the police in Warasiguda for allegedly misleading patients and running an unauthorised medical practice.

Police said V Ashok was operating a clinic under the name Sri Sai Ram Clinic and provided allopathic treatment despite holding only a BAMS qualification.


Following a tip-off, the police conducted a surprise raid on the clinic and took him into custody. During inspection, officials found that he had been posing as a qualified allopathy doctor and treating patients illegally.

Police registered cases against him under various sections and are investigating.
