Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (South) caught eight persons on charges of arranging and purchasing fake educational certificates on Wednesday.
According to the police, Syed Naveed alias Faisal, (30) owner of Cubez Overseas Education Services Private Limited at Basheerbagh along with Syed Nadeem (25) and Mohd Abraruddin (22) were preparing and selling educational certificates of different universities to students and job aspirants.
“Syed Nadeem was a DTP operator who made the certificates on computer while Faisal sold it to students who intended to go abroad. They collected different amounts depending upon the certificate needed from the buyers,” Task Force (South) Inspector S Raghavendra said.
Five persons who had purchased the certificates from Faisal were also arrested.
