Adilabad: A self-styled godman was arrested in Echoda mandal centre on Thursday for allegedly duping the public by claiming to cure various diseases.

According to the police, the accused, Shaik Ahmed of Kokasmannur village, had been cheating gullible people by offering treatment for chronic and seasonal illnesses, despite having no medical qualifications.
