Teams from the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP) and Ghatkesar local police launched a joint search operation, combing through every coach.

The checks, which had continued for nearly over an hour, caused anxiety among passengers.

Officials said there were no suspicious persons onboard or any explosive substances found.

They are now on the job to trace and identify the informer and suspect it could be a hoax.
