Karimnagar: Residents of Sadasivpalli, relatives and family members of Jasthi Srinidh (22), who died under suspicious circumstances on Sunday, staged a protest at Algunur Chowk on Monday, demanding that the police reveal the facts behind his death.

Vehicular traffic on the Hyderabad and Warangal routes came to a standstill as protestors squatted on the road. They wanted the police to identify the people responsible for Srinidh’s death and take strict action.

Police rushed to the spot and convinced the agitating people to withdraw their protest. After a clear assurance from the police, they withdrew their protest. A native of Sadasivpalli in Manakondur mandal, Srinidh was found hanging under suspicious circumstances near Ramakrishna Colony in Thimmapur mandal on Sunday.
