Fans celebrate ‘RRR’ day in theatres, calling it ‘pride of Indian cinema’

Hyderabad: Watching the first-day first show of director SS Rajamouli’s RRR (Rise Roar Revolt in English; Roudram Ranam Rudhiram in Telugu) is something that cannot be compromised by Jr NTR and Ram Charan fans. As the movie hit theatres on Friday, fans thronged the theatres and multiplexes across the city to catch the first-day first show. Almost all the theaters in the city witnessed a massive crowd and as expected the film is getting thunderous responses from everyone.
Early morning shows were organised at several theatres for fans across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. From pouring milk on the cut-outs of Jr NTR and Ram Charan to bursting crackers and dancing to the songs of their favourite stars, the actors’ fans left no stone unturned to express their excitement. Several die-hard fans wore ‘RRR’ t-shirts to show their support for the film.
Many, including celebrities, like Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Vennela Kishore, Anil Ravipudu, Vamsi, and Dil Raju thronged to theatres to watch the movie from midnight itself. While some called the film masterpiece, others have named it the pride of Indian cinema.

RRR has reportedly collected USD 3 million, Rs 2 crore in India from their premieres in the United States.
RRR marks Rajamouli’s comeback to direction post the record-breaking success of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The film boasts an ensemble cast, starring the likes of Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson.
