Farmer arrested for murdering woman over loan dispute in Asifabad
A farmer was arrested for allegedly murdering a woman in Rallaguda village of Dahegaon mandal over a loan dispute. Police said he strangled her, dumped her body in a cotton field, and later confessed during interrogation. He has been remanded in judicial custody

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A man was arrested for allegedly murdering a woman at Rallaguda village in Dahegaon mandal on Friday evening.
Police said Vagade Baderam, a farmer from the village, was apprehended for strangulating Athmakuri Kalavathi (40), wife of carpenter Santosh, to death and dumping her body in a cotton field after hitting her with a motorbike for failing to repay a loan of Rs 40,000 on Thursday evening.
During interrogation, Baderam confessed to committing the crime after nursing a grudge against the woman under the influence of liquor while she was returning alone to Rallaguda. He admitted to killing her for allegedly trying to evade repayment of the loan taken from him a few years ago. He also disclosed that she had threatened to reveal their illicit affair to her husband.
The farmer was produced before a court in Bellampalli and was remanded in judicial custody.
