Hyderabad: A 31-year-old woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl weighing 3 kg on Friday at the State-run IVF facility in Gandhi Hospital.
The farmer couple, Gavvala Naveena and Gavvala Satish (36) from Nagarkurnool, had been struggling with infertility for the past 14 years before the successful treatment at the IVF facility in Gandhi Hospital.
The couple, according to Gandhi Hospital doctors, had previously undergone multiple failed fertility treatment cycles at various private clinics, spending approximately Rs 10 lakh without any success. Facing severe financial strain, they subsequently approached the State-run Gandhi IVF Centre for treatment.
According to the Superintendent of Gandhi Hospital, Dr Vani, the woman tested positive for pregnancy in October 2025 during her fourth IVF cycle at the IVF facility.
