Farmer dies, four injured in honey bee attack in Sircilla

Villagers reported that honey bees attacked farmers while they were working in the fields. Kandadi Laxma Reddy, Alluri Ravinder Reddy, Kandala Raji Reddy, Kandala Naveen Reddy, and laborer Subash were injured in the attack.

Rajanna Sircilla: A farmer died and four others including a farm labourer sustained injuries in a honey bee attacked in Stambampalli of Boinpalli mandal on Thursday morning.

According to villagers, honey bees attacked farmers while they were working in their agricultural fields. Kandadi Laxma Reddy, Alluri Ravinder Reddy, Kandala Raji Reddy, Kandala Naveen Reddy and labourer Subash sustained injuries in the attack.

Local people shifted them to Vemulawada hospital where Laxma Reddy (61) breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
