In the shocking incident, relatives of Bhanot Balu (32) who died of electrocution when he came in contact with a live at his farm on Monday, took the body by tractor to the Tahsildhar’s office and alleged that the deceased farmer could not avail Rythu Bandhu assistance though he owned a piece of land at Tallapally Tanda only because he was not issued a Pattadar passbook by the revenue officials. One of the relatives who carried a bottle of diesel doused Tahsildhar Bhanu Prakash with the fuel and poured it on himself too.

Heated argument between the relatives and the Tahsildhar and his staff ensued but the latter managed to convince the agitated group to leave the office subsequently. The family raised slogans at the revenue office demanding justice for Balu’s family. Meanwhile, Bhanu Prakash filed a case against Balu’s relatives.
