Farmer electrocuted to death as power line snaps in Sangareddy

A farmer was electrocuted to death and another sustained serious injuries after an overhead power line snapped and fell on them while they were working in a field at Ramsanpally in Andole mandal, Sangareddy district.

The victims, Talari Venkatesham (40) and Manne Lakshmaiah (43), were working in an agricultural field when the electric line snapped and fell on them. While Venkatesham died on the spot, Lakshmaiah sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to the government hospital in Jogipet. His condition is said to be critical.
