Farmer electrocuted while switching on water pump in Medak
A 56-year-old farmer died after accidentally coming into contact with live electric wires while switching on a motor to pump water into an overhead tank at his residence in Podichenpally village of Medak district. Police registered a case and launched an investigation.

Medak: A farmer was electrocuted after he accidentally came into contact with live electric wires at Podichenpally village on Tuesday.
According to the police, the farmer, Yerollo Krishnaiah (56), was trying to switch on the motor to pump water into the overhead tank at his residence when he came into contact with the live wires. He died on the spot. The police registered a case, and the body was shifted to the Government Hospital in Medak for a postmortem.
